The Broadbeach Tavern

The Broadbeach Tavern underwent a significant lighting re-design and refurbishment in 2018. NPA Lighting was commissioned with manufacturing and supplying a range of LED products and offering technical support for the installation of those systems. This project was completed in conjunction with electrical designers, wholesalers and contractors.

LED Neon Flex in static white and RGB+White was used in ceiling coffers, seat pelmets and animated entry features.

LED Flex in various recessed and linear extrusion profiles, were incorporated into ceiling coffers and feature walls, as well as shelf, cupboard, counter top and bench seat lighting.  Parts of the LED Flex systems were manufactured in custom colour temperatures, whilst sections of the profile installations were done in custom black powder coating finishes.

Black Snake modules were also used in ceiling coffers throughout the building.

All LED systems were powered by Meanwell HLG and Tridonic constant voltage power supplies, with some sections incorporating DALI interfaces to allow for integrated control.  In the animated entry feature, colour changing effects and custom animation programs were designed by NPA and controlled with Wall Plate Control systems.

The overall installation at the Broadbeach Tavern benefitted from cohesive and integrative lighting design with a focus on high quality and application-specific components.
